Oak Brooke's Second Annual Dressage Show

Once Ryan had gotten King settled down inside, and un-tacked from his shipping equipment, it was about time to get him checked out from the vet. King was usually really good for the vet, but with this being his first show and a new place, Ryan was not sure how he was going to react. Hoping for the best, both him and the little stud walked into the large arena and waited their turn for the vet to have a look at little pony stud. King nickered to a few horses as they passed him by, but other than that he stood calmly and waited his turn. When they where called for their go, Ryan walked King up to the vet's assistant and handed her the lead rope. Stepping back a few steps, Ryan hoped King would behave himself for the check up and not end up embarrassing the both of them. The little stud did extremely well, doing everything he was asked to do without a single problem. Once he was cleared sound and good to show, Ryan took King back from the assistant and led him over to the tie up post to start getting him groomed and ready for a warm up before the show officially started.
